About
Learning & Development Professional
I hail from the Sunshine State of Florida where I now reside. I spent some time in Atlanta, GA where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Spelman College. I was dedicated and hard-working enough to graduate a year early. After graduation, I was chosen to join Teach for America where I taught secondary science in impoverished communities. I gained leadership roles and was responsible for the learning and development of other teachers. I fell in love with the work of giving adults the tools they needed for success. I wanted to bring the same thoughtfulness and excitement that I put into my classroom into the workplace. So I earned my Master's Degree in Organizational Learning & Development from Barry University.
I'm known for building engaging, efficient, and effective learning solutions. I've worked as a training coordinator, training specialist, and instructional designer. I've facilitated using all modalities (in-person, live-remote, self-paced, T3, and hybrid). I've created explainer videos, infographics, eLearning, job aids, training presentations, & participant/facilitation guides.
